Design Philosophy
Like our name-sake, our design philosophy is to provide a comfortable, inviting environment that is a MIXTURE of different elements. Whether it’s a MIXTURE of styles, colors, textures or lighting, we believe that the most interesting and desirable results occur when a balanced MIX has been implemented.
We set out to exceed our client’s expectations by offering friendly, full service interior design. We take the pretention out of the design process and make it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. From a basic color consultation to full-blown remodel projects, we do it all. We are an ‘a la carte’ company and do not engage in contracts for our services. You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish.
We believe that design should be all about the marrying of form and function (and budget) and thoroughly enjoy personalizing these for each individual need. Unlike many design companies, we don’t have one particular “look” we are known for. We enjoy all genres of design from modern to rustic and everything in between. We are here to make sure you receive the professional design knowledge to personalize your space and make it your own. Whether you have family heirlooms to incorporate, are blending two households together, or starting from scratch, we are here to ensure that your mixture will be yours and yours alone.
DESIGN IS OUR LIFE!
In addition to our main focus of residential interior design, we also offer staging services for the real estate market. Michelle has also done multiple public speaking engagements and presentations on different Interior Design subjects, and have written numerous design articles for local publications as well.
She has been involved in job shadowing with local teens that may be interested in interior design as a career and have even spoken to a local chapter of Girl Scouts about being a small business owner.
She truly enjoys every aspect of design!
